Guidelines for the Research Oral Presentation

Please observe the guidelines below to ensure the smooth proceeding of the conference.

Slide Presentation Content

The slides presentation should include:

  • Title, author/s, and institution

  • Introduction

  • Objectives

  • Methods

  • Results with tables, graphs, pictures as deemed appropriate

  • Conclusion

An example of a slide presentation template is available for download below. Feel free to modify it as needed.

Oral Presentation Format

  • All presenters must submit their presentation slides no later than 12.00 a.m. on 7th September 2025 (one week before the conference).

  • You are encouraged to use PowerPoint (PPT) or other creative tools such as Canva for your presentation.

  • A laptop and LCD projector will be provided at the venue. Personal laptops are not permitted for use during presentations.

  • Audio-visual equipment will be available from 8.00 a.m. on 14th September 2025 at the presentation venue for slide preview and testing. Our technical team will be on-site to assist you.

  • Please bring a USB flash drive containing your presentation as a backup.

  • All presenters are required to be in the designated hall at least 30 minutes before their scheduled presentation time.

During Your Oral Presentation

  • You will be able to control your slides using a laser pointer provided at the podium.

  • Please be mindful that each oral presentation session is limited to 10 minutes:

    • 8 minutes for your presentation

    • 2 minutes for the Q&A session

  • A caution bell will sound as a reminder to help you keep within the time limit.

  • Kindly follow the Chairperson’s guidance, especially regarding time management.

  • A timekeeper will be present to assist in keeping all presentations on schedule.
